Overview

What Chiropractic Care Is

Chiropractic care restores normal motion to joints that have become restricted, irritated or misaligned after an injury. Our chiropractors use manual adjustment, instrument-assisted techniques, soft tissue work and mobilization, choosing the approach that fits your body and your comfort level.

At Power Health Colorado, chiropractic is never delivered in isolation. Your chiropractor works alongside physical therapists and medical providers so that adjustment, rehabilitation and medical management support each other in a single, coordinated plan.

What to Expect

  1. 1A full intake and exam, including orthopedic and neurological testing and imaging referral when it is warranted.
  2. 2A clear explanation of what we found and what we believe is driving your pain.
  3. 3Treatment on day one in most cases, followed by a written plan with a realistic timeline.
  4. 4Re-evaluation at set intervals so care is adjusted based on measured progress.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Does a chiropractic adjustment hurt?

Most patients describe adjustments as a quick pressure followed by relief. If you are very acute or nervous about manual adjusting, we can use gentle instrument-assisted or mobilization techniques instead.

How many visits will I need?

It depends on the injury. Many patients feel meaningful change within the first two to three weeks. We give you an estimated course of care in writing after your exam and re-evaluate rather than keeping you on an open-ended schedule.

Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor?

No. You can book directly with us. If your plan requires a referral or authorization, our team will help you sort it out before your first visit.
