Back Injury Treatment
Disc, joint and muscular back injuries treated with hands-on care and structured rehab.
Back pain is the most common reason people come to us, and it is rarely one single problem. Discs, facet joints, muscles and nerves all contribute in different proportions, which is why a one-size treatment approach so often fails.
We start by identifying which structures are actually involved, then build a plan drawing on chiropractic care, physical therapy and medical treatment in whatever combination your exam supports.
Symptoms We See
- Localized low or mid back pain
- Pain that worsens with sitting, bending or lifting
- Muscle spasm and stiffness in the morning
- Pain radiating into the buttock or leg
- Numbness, tingling or leg weakness
- Difficulty standing or walking for long periods
How we treat it
Chiropractic, Physical Therapy and Medical Care Together
Most patients do best when hands-on care, rehabilitation and medical treatment run in parallel rather than one after the other.
Chiropractic Treatment Path
- Segmental examination to locate restricted and irritated joints.
- Adjustment, mobilization and traction as appropriate to your diagnosis.
- Soft tissue treatment for the surrounding musculature.
- Posture and lifting mechanics coaching.
Physical Therapy Treatment Path
- Core and hip strength assessment and targeted strengthening.
- Directional preference and mobility work for disc-related pain.
- Graded loading to restore tolerance for sitting, lifting and standing.
- A home program that fits your actual daily routine.
Medical & Pain Management
- Medical evaluation and imaging referral when red flags or persistent deficits are present.
- Injections to control inflammation blocking rehab progress.
- Regenerative medicine consultation for appropriate candidates.
- Coordination with spine specialists in the rare cases requiring it.

Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an MRI for back pain?
Usually not right away. Most back injuries improve with conservative care, and early imaging often finds incidental changes. We refer for imaging when your exam justifies it.
Should I rest or stay active?
Guided activity beats bed rest for nearly all back injuries. We will tell you specifically what to do and what to avoid at each stage.
